The $30M project includes resurfaced and reconfigured baseball, softball, and soccer fields, a new track, new playing surface, new grandstands and new Fieldhouse for Bailey Field, in addition to a new outdoor pool, the first Olympic-sized pool built between Petaluma and the Oregon border. Jill McCormick, Head Coach of the SRJC Swimming and Diving team was all smiles throughout the celebration and dedication ceremony, which represented the culmination of many years of advocacy and vision for a pool facility in Santa Rosa, and then working closely with the design team to turn that vision into the amazing pool that will serve as a community asset for generations to come.
Who better to test the waters than 8 former or current SRJC swim team members!
