We are very excited and proud for our colleague, Stacey Walker to be named one of the 17 Women in Business by the North Bay Business Journal for 2020.
As a newly appointed Interior Design Principal at TLCD Architecture, Stacey is the first female Principal in the firm’s 55+ year history. Architecture is a male dominated industry and the opportunity to join the leadership team represents a commitment to the departure from that norm. Interior Design is an important aspect of the built environment that TLCD creates and with Stacey in a leadership role in the office, she can better promote that facet of our practice.
As Stacey sees it, the most exciting part of design is the opportunity to learn and engage with the client, understand their industry and envision solutions that help their business thrive. Participating on teams for a wide range of project types throughout her career, Stacey has a cross-industry perspective to problem-solving. She has helped to shape other industries through space planning and creative place-making design leadership which sets the stage for the ways in which her clients interact throughout their day and deliver their products and services.

Stacey is currently leading the team for the Advanced Energy Center for Sonoma Clean Power in downtown Santa Rosa. She was part of the Interior Design team on the American AgCredit headquarters building at Airport Boulevard – and helped create our own handsome and collaborative environment at TLCD’s office at Courthouse Square.
Stacey is a long-time member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and has served in a variety of roles helping to connect the professional interior design community; planning continuing education unit courses, tracking and encouraging membership, creating event graphics and communicating across social channels, assisting in planning events and tracking financials all while raising funds to support local philanthropies at the local level.
Having grown up in the midwest, one of Stacey’s favorite activities is hanging out at the coast with husband Kevin and their dog Zoe. They also enjoy rolling up their sleeves for home renovation projects and exploring all things the extended Bay Area offers.
