On Sunday, December 8th the much beloved Paradise Ridge Winery Event Center on the hills above Santa Rosa, lost to the 2017 Tubbs Fire, was formally reopened and dedicated. Congressman Mike Thompson was on hand to present a formal Congressional proclamation to the owners, the Byck family. Approximately two hundred guests were in attendance including those involved with the winery, along with members of TLCD Architecture and Wright Contracting’s projects teams. The rebuilt structure occupies the same footprint and shape of the original building, but features a different character that is more responsive to the regional landscape. Numerous other changes were made, chief among them an all new, raised front patio and formal building entrance, and a wider covered deck that will allow more people to enjoy the stunning views over the Sonoma County landscape. The project has already been recognized by an award, which will be presented at the North Bay Business Journal’s Top Projects Awards program next week.
