When Hollywood came knocking… we answered. Last April TLCD got a call from a location scout representing Geico Insurance. They were shooting a motorcycle commercial in Sonoma County and needed a large board room for a set. After looking at our space, checking off a long list of logistical requirements and assuring us they wouldn’t disrupt operations too much, we agreed to participate!
Little did we know that our office would be transformed into a full studio set complete with production booths, lighting, sound, hair/makeup, and about 100 people. The clean lines of our large meeting room were barely recognizable as the production company created an entirely new set design for the “Bored Room”.
The commercial went live this week and will be aired on the major networks and sports channels. Our moment in the spot light was fun and really gave us an insiders look at what it takes to film a 30 second commercial.
