Celebrating 10 Years of Recognition!
Ten times and counting! TLCD Architecture is proud to celebrate our 10th recognition as one of the North Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work!
This milestone reflects the people and collaborative culture that make TLCD such a special place to work. For more than 60 years, we’ve brought talented, passionate individuals together to create meaningful architecture, support our communities, and inspire one another.
Here’s a look at some of the moments that have made 2026 memorable so far!

Thanks to our amazing team! Here’s a look back at some of the memorable moments, celebrations, and successes we’ve shared over the past year!

Celebrating Our Team
This year’s annual company picnic brought colleagues, families, and furry friends together at Copain Wines in Healdsburg for an evening of great food, beautiful views, and even better company. It’s events like these that strengthen our friendships and make TLCD more than just a workplace. It’s a community we’re proud to be a part of.
“TLCD is a great place to work. As a remote employee, I appreciate TLCD’s flexibility while still feeling like a close part of the team.”
Sean Murphy | Architect

Wine Wednesday: A TLCD Tradition
Our Wine Wednesday tradition continued with creativity, laughter, and learning. From a hilarious game of Telestrations to a site visit at Helen Lehman Elementary School, these gatherings brought our team together to share new experiences and perspectives.
“After almost a decade at TLCD, I’ve come to really appreciate the people and the collaborative environment. There’s always an opportunity to learn from each other, grow professionally, and share what we know and that makes this a great place to work.”
Lauren Mazza | Senior Interior Designer

Learning Through Design
This year, our team explored projects firsthand, including a visit to Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center and the modernization of Santa Rosa Junior College’s historic Tauzer Gymnasium. These experiences inspire collaboration and remind us of the meaningful impact our work has on the communities we serve.
“Good design is about turning complex problems into spaces that truly work for the people who use them. After years in architecture, I’ve learned that the most rewarding part of the work isn’t just seeing an idea come to life, it’s the people, collaboration, and relationships that make it happen.”
Tamara Gelvin | Senior Project Captain

Making a Difference in Our Communities
Supporting our communities remains central to TLCD’s culture. This year, we celebrated the ribbon cutting at Helen Lehman Elementary School, participated as a Tee Sponsor in the 36th Annual YMCA Golf Tournament, continued supporting educational outreach through the Mike Hauser Academy, and donated more than 200 books to Friends of the Santa Rosa Libraries, helping give each book a new chapter.
“I love working at TLCD because we foster a culture of genuine support, challenge one another to do our best work, and embrace the unique experiences and perspectives each person brings to the team. It’s that spirit of collaboration and shared purpose that strengthens our work and inspires us to create amazing architecture together.”
Tyler Laskowski | Architect

The People Make the Place
Our 10th Best Places to Work recognition belongs to the incredible people who make TLCD what it is. Their creativity, dedication, and genuine support for one another continue to shape our firm and the communities we serve.
Many thanks to the North Bay Business Journal for this award, and congratulation to all the 2026 Best Places to Work winners!
