Sean Taber, AIA, NOMA

Architect

A self-described “production geek”, Sean splits his time between the Open Practice and Education studios, where his strong Revit skills and passion for concise construction documents are making a huge contribution to our multifamily and K-12 projects. Over the course of his career, he has developed a reputation for architectural detailing on a wide range of typologies including sports & recreation, hospitality, commercial interiors and student housing among others. Sean gets great satisfaction from making sense of the myriad elements that go into a complex project, whether it’s a waterproofing detail or custom ceiling trim.

In addition to his project responsibilities, Sean also contributes his energies to several office committees including the Design Technology Committee and the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee. Outside the office, Sean rolls up his sleeves and volunteers his time participating on the board of two community organizations where he can be found advancing important conversations in the architecture profession or raising funds for enriching the educational experience in a local school district.
