Brian’s strong client relationships are built on his innate ability to listen and see the big picture while following through on details. He has a pragmatic approach to exploring innovations in the learning environment, as well as a keen eye for quality design that can be found in TLCD’s educational projects. His personable leadership style is welcome both in the office and in the field, where folks are put at ease by what he terms his “abstract sense of humor”.
Brian jokes that his team approach to management comes from his early love of sports where, as a child Brian built models of baseball stadiums while dreaming of becoming a professional baseball player. In the end architecture won out as his career choice – for which we are all grateful! His ability to mentor younger staff and empower them to take ownership of their work reflects that love of teamwork.
