WEST COLLEGE UTILITIES FACILITY

As a final phase build-out of the Corporation Yard of the City of Santa Rosa, this facility is home to the Utility Department’s Engineering Division, Operations, and Shops Building. It also contains major training rooms to be shared among all City Departments.

 

The buildings are grouped to form an outdoor square that features “orchard” parking as a forecourt to the buildings. Extensive sustainable design features are integrated into the buildings and site work, including roof-top photovoltaic panels, innovative storm-water management systems, interior daylighting, and ultra-efficient heating and cooling equipment.
